I'm gonna tell this world goodbye
You see, I'm gonna fly away
We're gonna be call up together
To live with Jesus Christ forever
You see, I'm gonna fly away
One day i will be free
Free one day
I've got a home in the sky
Gonna tell this world goodbye
You see, I'm gonna fly away
We'll be called up together
To live with Jesus Christ forever
You see, I'm gonna fly away
I will be free free
One day
I will be free freem
One day
Some glad morning when this life is over
I'll fly away i'll fly away
I'll fly away
I will be free free
One day
I will be free free
One day

The singer proclaims that they have a home in the sky, indicating a belief in an afterlife or a spiritual realm beyond what is visible. They declare their intention to say goodbye to the world, indicating a readiness to transcend earthly concerns and embrace a new existence.
The chorus emphasizes the hope of being called up together to live with Jesus Christ forever. This suggests a belief in salvation or the promise of a better life in the presence of a divine figure. The repetition of the phrase "I will be free" underscores a desire for liberation from earthly strife and the anticipation of ultimate freedom in the future. It also conveys a sense of assurance and confidence in the promise of a better destiny.
The mention of a glad morning when this life is over signifies a belief in a future beyond death, where the singer envisions themselves flying away from the troubles and limitations of this world.
