Help, not just anybody
Help, you know I need someone
Help
When I was younger, so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self-assured
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
And now my life has changed in oh-so many ways
My independence seems to vanish in the haze
But every now and then I feel so insecure
I know that I just need you like I've never done before
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
When I was younger, so much younger than today
I never needed anybody's help in any way
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self-assured
And now that I've changed my mind, I opened up the doors
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please help me?
Help me! Help me! Help me! Help me!
Help me!
Help me!
The song "Help!" by Himesh Patel talks about how he needs someone to support him emotionally as he feels down and insecure. In the chorus, he explicitly calls for help, acknowledging that he appreciates whoever is around him and wants them to help him get back on his feet, showing vulnerability and an honest plea.
The second verse reflects how his life has changed in many ways and how his independence has vanished which leaves him feeling insecure at times. He admits that he needs someone like never before and reiterates his plea for help. Finally, the song closes with a repetition of the chorus, emphasizing his need for help.
