Remember
His Orchestra Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The night was filled with sweet surrender
I had a million things to say
We shared the moon in all it's splender
You pressed your lips to mine, and by the way

Did I remember to tell you I adore you
And I am living for you alone?
Did I remember to say "I'm lost without you"
And just how mad about you I've grown?
You were in my arms and that was all I knew
We were alone, we two, what did I say to you?
Did I remember to tell you I adore you
And pray forever more you are mine?

Did I remember to tell you I adore you
And I am living for you alone?
Did I remember to say "I'm lost without you"
And just how mad about you I've grown?
You were in my arms and that was all I knew
We were alone, we two, what did I say to you?

Did I remember to tell you I adore you
And pray forever more you are mine?

Here are the lyrics of this wonderful song:

Remember When (We Made These Memories)
(Brenda Lee version)

Pizza pies and carousels, the fountains and the wishing wells
Remember when we rode in Edeline
Switzerland, we loved it too
Although we left there black and blue
Remember when we tried to learn to ski
Those two days in London town
We Yankee doodled all around
Rubbed elbows there with all the royal teas
We still get such many laughs just looking at those photographs
Remember when we made these memories
Wasn't that some honeymoon I know I won't forget it soon
Not if I live to be a hundred years
Here's the one we snapped in Spain
I can't remember was it rain
Or were your eyes just filled with happy tears
All good things must end it's true
So back to USA we flew
But who was happier than me and you
To relive each wonderland
We open up this album, and
Remember when we made theses memories...
Remember when we made theses memories

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love this timeless music. I was raised with Bert Kaempfert and his orchestra (in my very own home .... dad was a professional musician and played brass, string and wind instruments). He also played piano and was an amazing singer, too. So the sounds of Maestro Kaempfert eluded our homes.

I love how Sylvia Vrethammar sang it in live. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nostalgia feast time and superb at that. Listen on headphones and one can hear crisp, clearly balanced sound with, not least, the glorious resonant 'thunk' of the string bass as well as Ladi Geisler's 'knack bass'. Allied to Kaempfert/Rehbein's wonderful scoring another magical music meander.
