Hugh is so multi-talented and musically gifted and surprisingly likes rhythm and blues. His ability to speak "American slang" he learned playing House helps him sing it pretty well. He also plays piano and a few other instruments. Very gifted guy!

Hugh Laurie deserves way more attention, recognition and appreciation than he gets. And I don't mean about his work as House. He has interviews about other roles yet they always go back to House. It's insulting! He's incredibly, incredibly, incredibly talented in many different ways! This video is proof of just part of that.

his talent is actually hard to wrap ones head around. he’s just so, so phenomenal. he never fails to astound me. what I wouldn’t give to play with him, sing with him, learn from him... he’s not only this amazing musician, but house meant so fucking much to me. it still does. it’s somehow my comfort show (odd choice, I know) but as someone with chronic pain, I can relate to him so deeply at times. I wish I could be angry. I wish I could release these complicated, weighted feelings somehow. I just can’t.
