1. Hunter Easton Hayes (born September 9, 1991 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana) is an American country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is signed to Atlantic Records Nashville, which released his debut single, "Storm Warning", on May 16th, 2011. His first major stuido album, a self-titled release, came out on October 11, 2011. His latest work is 'Storyline'. In May 2014, Hayes notably achieved a Guinness World Record for holding the most live shows played in different cities within 24 hours, a record previously held by hip-hop star Jay-Z.
The Storm Warning Songfacts reports that Hayes began his musical career at the age of four, making appearances at both local performances and on national television. At the age of six, he appeared in the drama movie 'The Apostle' alongside character actor Robert Duvall, who gave Hunter his first guitar. Before being signed to Atlantic, Hayes released many albums independently, starting with his first, 'Through My Eyes', which was released in 2000. These albums were mainly in Cajun French. However, 2008's 'Songs About Nothing' is in the same modern country style as his 2011 album.

In 2010, he additionally gained notice for having co-wrote the song "Play" for Rascal Flatts' album Nothing Like This. Hayes also appeared as the opening act of ten dates of pop country star Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now World Tour' as well as serving in the North American leg of Carrie Underwood's 'Blown Away Tour'.
Hayes' latest work is 'Storyline'. That album has been a commercial success and reached the #1 spot on the iTunes top album sales chart. As stated before, Hayes notably achieved a Guinness World Record for holding the most live shows played in different cities within 24 hours in May 2014, a record previously held by hip-hop star Jay-Z.

Boy, you'd lose your mind
But girl, you got too many colors to be read and black and white
It's past the point of keeping me up at night
Now it's more like a beautiful movie that never ends
Wanna close my eyes and play it again
Baby, come and wake me, only you can make me
Dream, girl, dream this way
And you don't even know my name, oh
Dream girl, if you only knew
How much you amaze me and it's crazy, but a boy can
Dream, girl
Yeah and you're my dream girl
I'm speaking with my heart when my lips don't move
It's all that I can do
It skips like a record and it sinks like a stone as I fall for you
I wish you could hear me and I wish I was getting through
But it seems like every time we get close, all my systems go down
And I'm back where I started and for crying out loud
Dream girl, look my way
Baby, come and wake me, only you can make me
Dream, girl, dream this way
And you don't even know my name, oh
Dream girl, if you only knew
How much you amaze me, it's crazy, but a boy can
Dream, girl
Oh, you're my dream girl
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, this ain't just a phase or a trip that I'm on
Words ain't enough, so I wrote you a song
And it says
Dream girl, look my way
Baby, come and wake me, only you can make me
Dream, girl, dream this way
'Cause you don't even know my name
Dream girl, if you only knew
How much you amaze me, it's crazy, but a boy can
Dream, girl
Yeah and you're my dream girl
Baby, don't you come into my dream, girl, oh
And I can dream, girl
The lyrics to Hunter Hayes’s song, “Dream Girl,” paint a picture of someone who is smitten with a girl that he has yet to even introduce himself to. The opening lines state that the girl is too multi-dimensional to be defined by the simplicity of a book. She has too many colors, too many layers - she’s complex and she can’t be limited to black and white. The beauty of the girl consumes the singer, as it is the only thing that he can think about day and night. He wishes he could get her attention, but every time he tries, his system “goes down” and he’s back to square one. He sings about wanting to close his eyes and watch his beautiful “movie” all over again, but this movie represents his fantasy with this girl. Even though he falls for her in a deeper way every time he sees her, she remains nothing more than his “dream girl.”
The song continues with the chorus where he sings out to the dream girl, asking her to look his way: "Dream girl, look my way/Baby, come and wake me, only you can make me/Dream, girl, dream this way/And you don't even know my name, oh." It is clear that he has never spoken to her and never even been introduced. Despite the fact that she doesn't know who he is, he longs for her to realize what she has done to him. The song conveys an ultimate desire to be seen and recognized by someone they love.

This is not a temporary infatuation, but a deep and abiding love
Words ain't enough, so I wrote you a song

Baby, don't you come into my dream, girl, oh
I do not want to awaken from this dream, where you are with me
And I can dream, girl
In my dreams, you are mine and everything is perfect
