Since childhood he was attracted to EDM, those banging beats and powerful basslines, combined with beautiful melodies, it was love at first sight.
In the year of 2002, Itay discovered a program named "Impulse Tracker" which was a sample based DOS program. Itay was excited with the idea that he could finally make his own music using just his home PC. Producing music gave him a different feeling, something he hadn't felt before, a feeling that soaked him to the very core of his sole. He spent days and nights trying out new beats, after taming the complexities of the program he decides to take it to the next level. Using "Fruity Loops", "Reason" and currently "Logic", Itay improved his technical skills and sense of sound, reaching new heights of professional sound and productions. Later on he teamed up with a friend named Yoni Yarchi, together they have formed "Verge" a new fresh uplifting trance project, meanwhile Itay continued working on his own solo projects.
In 2004, Itay started listening to progressive music and soon it became his style, his first progressive track was titled "Hydroid - Drawn to Depth”, which later on got signed on The UK label "Trance Revolution Records". After his first successful track, he kept producing under his progressive alias "Hydroid" and because of his obvious talents, others caught onto to his flavours. Played by big names such as Markus Schulz, DJ Precision, Misja Helsloot, Manuel Le Saux , Ben Lost, DJ Genix, Andy Bagguley, Niklas Harding and many others all wanted showcase his work, Itay is currently one of the youngest promising talents in the EDM scene.
Nowadays working with alot of big Labels such as Armada, Tsunami, Somatic Sense, Lost Language, Baroque and many more and even got to remix the legendary dutch star, Ferry Corsten.
Watch out for him in the future , this guy is on fire!

Same, keep coming back to it :)

This track ranks among the most perfect. Those pads are just divine, the way they slowly sway like waves on a shore. And the way they progress during the breakdown reminds me of oldskool Trance.

Words hardly do this justice, but it's a lovely track. When the bass line takes a break and comes back in at 4:30...too superb.

This might be 2 years old but I seriously wish I could have made it, big fan of your work mate. You're one of the soul reasons I got into DJing and production :D
