But my cry dont bother megonna paint all my troubles
Frame them and hang them in a gallery
I make hundred burn temp...
Hundred thousand black and blue
I make sky blue sky blue
And yellow its all gone now
The sunshine shining through
I need i need to money, oh just a dollar
Just a few
I need i need to money, just a coin or cent or two
Cause a ... sell me yellow
Ill make you some sunshine too.
The lyrics to Ida Maria's song "Gallery" reflect the singer's emotional state as she deals with personal struggles. The opening line of "I've been crying for so long" sets the tone for the rest of the song. However, the singer seems to have found a cathartic outlet for her pain by deciding to paint and frame her troubles and hang them in a gallery. This sentiment is further emphasized in the chorus, where she talks about painting with different colors and selling her art to make money.
The verses of the song describe the process of creating artwork out of negative emotions. The lines "I make hundred burn temp.../Hundred thousand black and blue" seem to refer to the overwhelming nature of the emotions the singer is feeling. However, she takes control of these emotions by turning them into something beautiful. She talks about using colors like roller-coaster red and sky blue to bring her paintings to life. Interestingly, the chorus implies that the singer isn't just creating art for her own benefit – she needs to make money, even just a little, by selling her paintings.
Overall, "Gallery" is a powerful song about turning negative experiences into something positive. By using art as a tool to express herself, the singer is able to find healing and even financial stability.
