2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Don't Wanna Know
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
'Cause you can't change my mind
What seems wrong for you might be right for me
So step back behind the line
This bond is invisible, yeah
No need to get cynical
Can't break what's unbreakable
I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know, no, no
I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know
So maybe you should let it go
Now please don't take this personal
But I just don't wanna know, don't wanna know
So talk to whoever you need to talk to
You can't take away my smile
Neither rain nor thunder, not even a hurricane
Could change my joy inside
This bond is invincible, yeah
No point being critical, no, no
Can't break what's unbreakable
No matter what you do, you can't succeed because
Hush now, sshhh, keep it low
He just doesn't wanna know
Maybe you should let it go...
If you could see what I see
You'd simply give up and turn around
So don't waste your time on this, I keep telling you
There is no way that I will ever change my mind
'Cause I don't wanna know
The lyrics to Incognito's "Don't Wanna Know" exude confidence and independence, as the singer refuses to allow the opinions and criticisms of others to sway their own beliefs and happiness. The opening lines "Say what you wanna say about her/Cause you can't change my mind," set the tone for the rest of the song - that the singer is secure enough in themselves that the opinions of others do not affect them. They highlight that what seems "wrong" or "right" to others may be the opposite for the singer, and therefore, it is important for others to "step back behind the line."
The chorus repeats the phrase "I don't wanna know," emphasizing the singer's desire to remain uninfluenced by the opinions of others. They tell the other person to let it go and not to take it personally, indicating that the singer may have encountered this type of criticism before - making them an experienced and wise individual.
The bridge of the song switches the perspective, with the singer telling the other person that if they were to see what the singer sees, they would give up their attempts to change the singer's mind. The allusions to "rain, thunder, and hurricanes" symbolize the obstacles that the singer is prepared to weather, implying that they have their mind made up on the matter.
Overall, "Don't Wanna Know" is an empowering song that reinforces the importance of being confident in oneself and not allowing the opinions of others to impact one's personal beliefs and happiness.
