2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Jump To My Love
Incognito Lyrics

Could ever take your place
[That's not the case anymore]
Took for granted that tomorrow was ours to play
Boy things have changed
Nothing stayed the same
When you chose to move away
[Chorus]
Haven't heard your voice in so very long
Say I've been missed but I wouldn't know
I might be better off living on my own
'cause love won't last now that hope is gone
Promised the distance wouldn't change a thing
Now the fault is work, it's keeping you away
You'd try harder if you want my love
If you want my love
Careless intentions
Is what this has become
[I'm struck with a broken heart]
Here we're flowing on emotions
Of what once was
Boy things have changed
Nothing stayed the same
When you chose to move away
[move away]
[Chorus]
Looking back on how things used to be
No one could tell me that this would be our destiny
And now I'm facing life on my own without you baby
Though we're miles apart - you had my heart
I'm tired of the confusion I'd rather just be friends
[There's no hope of a second chance]
No sense in going through the motions
Like it's not the end, like this is not the end
The lyrics of Incognito's song, If You Want My Love, seem to be talking about a relationship that has been affected by distance and broken promises. The song starts with the singer reminiscing about how there was a time when no one could take the place of the person they're singing about, but now things have changed. The singer talks about how they took the future for granted, assuming that it was theirs to play. However, things changed, and the person they're singing about chose to move away.
The singer talks about how they haven't heard the person's voice in a long time, and they don't know if they've been missed. They say that it might be better to live on their own, as love won't last now that hope is gone. The singer then talks about how the person they're singing about promised that the distance wouldn't change anything, but now work seems to be keeping them away. The chorus then repeats the message that if the person wants the singer's love, they'll have to try harder.
The second verse talks about how the relationship has become a source of careless intention, leaving the singer with a broken heart. They talk about how they're flowing on emotions of what once was, but things have changed, and nothing stayed the same. The singer then looks back on how things used to be, and how they never imagined that this would be their destiny. They're now facing life without the person they love, even though they had their heart.
Overall, the song seems to be about the struggle of trying to make a relationship work when distance and broken promises come into play. The singer is tired of the confusion and just wants to be friends instead of going through the motions of pretending that everything is okay.
