2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Incognito Lyrics

Packed my bags and I`m leaving
Ride the night train
To where I know You`re gonna be waiting
And yesterday will fade like snow in the sunlight
Melt away from my memory
Through the darkness until I feel the light`s caress
The room is crowded
I can feel my body heat rising
Above the voices
The echoes of a train approaching
A colorful parade like flames in the dark night
Leads the way to my fantasy
Through the darkness until I feel the light`s caress
I`m on my way to the streets of Marrakech
And yesterday will fade like snow in the sunlight
I`m on my way; yes I`m on my way
I`m on my way to the streets of Marrakech
Marrakech
The streets of Marrakech
Marrakech
The streets of Marrakech
The lyrics of Incognito's song Marrakech tells the story of a person who is leaving everything behind and embarking on a journey to Marrakech, a city in Morocco. The singer is determined to forget the memories of yesterday and move on to a place where they feel they will find what they are looking for.
The song highlights the theme of wanderlust and the desire to escape from the reality that holds one back. The lyrics convey a sense of eagerness and anticipation as the singer experiences a surge of excitement upon seeing the colorful parade that leads the way to their fantasy.
The song also depicts the struggle of finding oneself in a foreign place, as expressed in the line "Through the darkness until I feel the light's caress." It suggests that the journey to Marrakech is not just a physical one but also a spiritual one, where the singer hopes to find a new sense of purpose and direction.
Overall, the song Marrakech is an evocative description of a journey to a faraway land that represents the possibility of new beginnings, personal growth, and spiritual enlightenment.
