Ivy Fan Page: 'Worry about You' is one of the most listened on lastfm.com and rhapsody.com apart from 'Edge of the Ocean'. What can you tell us about the recording of this great song.
Andy Chase: Ahhh, that’s our favorite on the album. It started as a little idea Adam had on the acoustic guitar. The way he played it was very sweet and soft, almost like a nursery rhyme. We thought if we could keep the nursery rhyme aspect of it but make it really, REALLY dark and mysterious – loose the sweet, cute quality – that would be much more interesting. We found this crazy drum loop and I added a Wurlitzer piano part and the song started coming alive. Adam put down one of my all time favorite bass lines and that just rocketed the song straight into the vibe we wanted. It was such an easy song to record because it was just so evocative and moody. You can’t go wrong with a song like that – everything we did sounded cool. Dominique’s voice was very low and deep at that point (because she was 8 months pregnant) and you can hear that when you listen to the song – there’s this quality to her voice that’s so beautiful, and a little different from some of our other albums..

Don't be long
I'll worry about you while you're gone
Bye bye baby
Don't be long
I'll worry about you while you're gone
I'll think of you in my dreams
To me
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da...
Bye bye baby
Don't be long
I'll worry about you while you're gone
Bye bye baby
Don't be long
I'll worry about you while you're gone
I'll think of you night and day
I'll never know just what you meant to say
To say
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba-da...
Hmmm, ba, ba, ba-da...

The line "you'll never know just what you mean to me" suggests that the singer may not have fully expressed their feelings to their lover.
