Nolan cites his first rhyme as being written before 4th grade when his older brother encouraged him to try it out. He quit after that and picked the pen back up in 7th grade for a brief stint before quitting once again. In his freshman year of High School, he resumed writing lyrics after breaking his leg in an accident while playing basketball. Ever since then, J.Nolan was frequently writing songs, freestyling, and battling fellow emcees in local ciphers after school. In 2005, Nolan formed a group with his best friend Osiris The Prophet and cousin Yung B Da Producer. The trio was called Manifest. They officially stayed together until 2007 when they disbanded as solo artists in a crew known as The Manifest Movement. J.Nolan uses this imprint to release his independent mixtapes and free albums.

All I gotta do
Is call you on the phone
And you'll come running home
Yeah, that's all I gotta do
And when I, I wanna kiss you, yeah
All I gotta do
The words you long to hear
And I'll be kissing you
And the same goes for me
Whenever you want me at all
I'll be here, yes, I will
Whenever you call
You just gotta call on me, yeah
You just gotta call on me
And when I, I wanna kiss you, yeah
All I gotta do
Is call you on the phone
And you'll come running home
Yeah, that's all I gotta do
And the same goes for me
Whenever you want me at all
I'll be here, yes, I will
Whenever you call
You just gotta call on me, yeah
You just gotta call on me
Oh, you just gotta call on me

All I've got to do
The song "All I Got" by J.Nolan is about being successful and having all the material things that come with it. The chorus repeats the line "whatever you want, I got it all," emphasizing the opulence that comes with wealth. But despite having everything he could want, the singer is cautious about the people around him. He warns the listener to "watch out for those trifling friends," as they might be trying to take advantage of his success. He also emphasizes that he only associates with professionals and not "amateurs."
The first verse begins with a shoutout to DJ Clue, a popular DJ and radio personality. The singer then goes on to talk about his success and the jealousy it evokes in others. He brags about his diamonds, acquired from California and Canada, and suggests that haters will be "damaged" by his wealth. He then describes his lifestyle, hanging out in Maui and Cali, but notes that he keeps a low profile to avoid attention from those trying to bring him down.
In the second verse, the singer talks about his wealth in more detail. He describes his expensive jewelry and his motto of "get the meals." He also suggests that he is much more than just a rapper, claiming that he has other talents and interests. The final chorus is repeated twice and features a call to action for his fellow successful people to keep moving forward and making money.
