After the passing of his Father in the summer of 2003, J. Robb was faced with the task of becoming man of the house. The determination and passion that he once possessed for music immediately grew from a pastime to an emotional outlet. After his senior year of high school J. Robb started work on his first mixtape which was released in 2004. Since 2004 J. Robb's archive of original tracks continued to build. After a 3 year hiatus, on April, 28th, 2007 J. Robb released a double CD, CD One contains 19 original songs & CD two; 22 photo's, 10 Mp3's, 7 Videos & A Poster appropriately named Long Awaited. He intends on continuing to promote this project while he prepares his album titled Watch & Learn. J. Robb does not feel that he has anything to loose going into the rap game head first, rolling with the punches and using hooks and punches of his own to survive.
"To be perfectly honest the way I see it is, there are a lot of Weak Links and in the end the Emcee's that are built for this will come out on top, those that do not take it seriously will simply fade away." - J. Robb
J. Robb has been called one of the hardest working artists to come out of the GTA. He has made the transition from a freestyle/battle Emcee to a seasoned recording artist. But if words on a paper don't impress you, just listen to the music.

Take off your mask
Show me where it hurts
And I'll sign the cast
You feel embarrassed
So long in the dark
The day is dawning
On your broken heart
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
Give me the dirt
You may be surprised
You feel so dirty
No dirtier than I
You feel unworthy
No unworthier than I
And I'll sit here with you
A shoulder when you cry
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
I love you you're my friend
The lyrics of J. robb's song "miss ur love" are about friendship and the importance of being there for someone when they're going through a tough time. The first stanza talks about the willingness to listen to someone's problems and offer comfort and support. The line "show me where it hurts and I'll sign the cast" is a metaphor for being there for someone and helping them heal. The day dawning on the broken heart shows that things will get better with time.
The second stanza talks about how everyone has secrets and dirt in their lives, but that doesn't make them any less valuable as a friend. The singer notes that they have their own demons to battle, so they aren't judging anyone else. The last line, "I'll sit here with you, a shoulder when you cry," encapsulates the message of the song: being a true friend means being present and empathetic, even when things are tough.
Overall, the song is a beautiful tribute to the power of friendship and the importance of supporting one another through life's challenges.
