(C'mon, c'mon feel the noise!)
Ruff Draft (girls grab the boys)
Uh (get wild, wild wild)
Get wild (get wild, wild wild) get wild

Turn it up, another world premier y'all
Let's wild out in here front to rear y'all
Yeah, pimp juice 'bout to tear off
In these niggas asses indeed it's a classic
We 'bout to get wild homeskillet
Long as hoes feel it, fuck the clones stealin
Where the fifthy, what's a fo'-wheel?
Don't just be talkin show deal
We wildin like "Girls Gone Wild" here
Stand up like D kings wild here
Stay stylin, pilin paper
Take over town like ice and Jacob, uhh
Treat haters like dice and shake 'em up
AJ Production, takin up
Back to what we came to do now
Get wild in here blaze the roof down

C'mon (feel the noise!)
(Girls grab the boys)
(Get wild, wild wild) get wild
(Get wild, wild wild) get wild

Get wild on the Rampage, "Wild for the Night"
Get it lifted like Winona Ryder
Same energy that made Ike wanna fight her
Hoes-tile, end up in hoes-pi-tal
Fuck with this not an option yo
Might be too wild here in De-toire
Here to shut shit down, keep your day jobs
Yeah, the S. Vil, the MC
Free, Guilty, Reem and Rasheed
It's not a game my peeps got cheese
Freaks see us, get knock-kneed
Tryin to hook off with us, everywhere we look up
Keep a nigga shook up, now you know this
All real playboy straight to Morpheus
Back to what we came to do now
Get it wild in here blaze the roof down
C'mon, feel the noise
Girls, grab the boys
And get wild (wild wild)
(Get wild, wild wild)

Wild out y'all, yeah
Uhh, hut one, hut two
Hut, hut, hut, hut (yeah)
Hut, hut, hut, hut (Ruff Draft)
Hut, hut, hoe
Hut, hut, hut

(Okay that's the end of my slave song)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of J Dilla's "Wild" are seemingly about letting go and enjoying oneself without any inhibitions. The chorus succinctly summarizes this sentiment by urging the listeners to "get wild" repeatedly. The song features prominently the phrase "C'mon, feel the noise" popularized by the rock band Quiet Riot. J Dilla uses the phrase as an invitation to the listeners to let loose and to lose themselves to the music. He employs a variety of metaphors and pop culture references in the verses to convey the same message. For instance, he compares the atmosphere of the song to that of a "Girls Gone Wild" video, known for its wild parties and provocative behavior. Similarly, he evokes the persona of Rampage, a hip-hop artist known for his brash and unabashed style, as a symbol of the wild energy of the song. The lyrics also contain a nod to Motown, the legendary Detroit-based record label, with the phrase "De-toire" which is how the locals pronounce Detroit.

Overall, the lyrics of "Wild" are about letting go and embracing the moment. J Dilla invites the listeners to join him and his crew in a wild party where anything goes, and anything can happen. The song is an expression of the free-spiritedness and hedonism that are often associated with hip-hop culture.

Ramzi Badwi

WildChild13

listen.. the thing i loved about dilla is he always made tracks that he liked and felt.. he got into his work. and each time we learned more about the depth of his musicianship, skillz, and rap ability. he always stepped the game up every time. this track has no kick, no 808, no bass line, no scratching, but it is still hip hop raw funky unapologetic...and probably the dopest thing since sliced bread. cudi lol haha, he can keep his day n night..Dilla will always rock on and will remain a legend.

buttguy

shit blew my mind the first time I heard it. Might be one of my favorite beats ever.
