As I drove across on the highway
I was driving on the highway

My jeep began to rock
My jeep started shaking and I felt uneasy

I didn't know what to do so I stopped and got out
I was confused and didn't know how to fix the problem, so I stopped the jeep and got out

So I walked out, parked the car like sideways
I got out of the jeep and parked it at an angle, so that I could work on it better

I looked around there were no cars on the highway

I felt a strange feeling like a mist
I experienced a strange feeling, almost like being in a fog

I walked down towards the end of the road
I walked down the road to see if there was anything that could help me out

And in the fog a woman appeared
A woman suddenly appeared out of the fog

She said don't you worry my friend I'll take care
The woman reassured me that she would take care of me

Take my hand, I'll take you there
She offered to take me to a special place

Take me to a place without no name
She took me to a place that had no name

As she took me right through the fog
As she led me through the fog

I see a beautiful city appear
I saw a beautiful city emerge from the fog

Where kids are playin' and people are laughin' and smiling and
I saw children playing and people laughing and smiling

She said this is the place where no people have pain
She explained that this was a place where no one experiences pain

She turned around looked down at my eyes and started cryin'
She turned to me, looked me in the eyes, and began to cry

She took my hand and told me that I had a friend in her

She began to express her affection for me through kissing and hugging

She didn't really, really want me to leave

She showed me places I've never seen things I've never done

I realized that this was the place where I wanted to be, and where my loved ones should be too

When you thought you could be in another world
I had previously thought about being in a different world, but realized that this was the place for me
