1- Jackarta is a band formed in 1981 in Belgrade. They released their debut album Maske za dvoje ("Masks for Two") in 1984 in the following lineup: Igor Popović (vocals), Jane Parđovski (guitar), Rade Bulatović (bass guitar), Miloš Petrović (keyboard) and Ivan Fece (a former Luna member, drums). The album was produced by Saša Habić. Album brought pop funk hits "Spiritus", "Piromanija", "Dama sa severa", "Pozovi me". With their second album Bomba u grudima ("Bomb in the Chest"), recorded with new drummer Miroslav Karlović, they moved to pop-rock sound. The album was not well accepted by the critics and Jakarta disbanded in 1986.
2- Jakarta is a dance music project of the record label Hype Traxx. The members are Danny Wild, Alan Pride, Dave King, and David Kane.
