My grandmother heard this: she said she doesn't care what book it is supposed to be from: She said it sounds like it was written for what she and my family went through in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens. I was a month old when it went, it destroyed everything. People my family knew were killed. I've been listening to your covers for about a year now. I never post comments on youtube, but you seemed so cute in the end of the video that I just had to hahaha. I always use you as an example when I talk about what I love in a singer. I don't care about the other comments about effects or whatever. I'm not judging you based on your vocal performances. What I love about you is how I can literally see on your face and in your body movements that you really feel "it" when you sing. You sing with your heart, not your lungs, and that's really awesome. I've thought this for a while now, which is why I use you as an example when I try to explain how I love singers that read or write lyrics and link it to emotions that they truly feel, then they just use their voices as a tool to express that feeling. My mother (who is chronically ill and can't always do the things she'd like to do) finds music to be an escape. She loves listening to you as well because she can tell you put emotion into the songs, and it comes across to other people. I can't enjoy a song as much if it's just somebody reading lyrics from a paper melodiously. I don't personally know you, but you seem like a very sweet, pure girl. There are a lot of people who get lost in the glamour of things when they start to gain fame, and some of them end up sending bad messages. I know you're going to do awesome things with your talents, but try to never lose that purity! You're going places, chicaaa. Keep it up!

Heard a song of yours today on pandora and screenshot it, then two minutes later heard another song and screen shot that one too...lo and behold, both were by you!
