It was during these intimate worship gatherings that they began to intertwine music with all forms of worship and prayer found in the Bible. They soon realized that the songs God was giving Jason were not simply songs but keys that would open and shut doors in the spirit realm. This culminated in a live worship recording entitled "Key of David." In the fall of 2001, Jason and Rachel ministered at the Call Dc, Nepal, Indonesia, India, and in cities all over the U.S. In addition they have released a new worship album on 40records entitled Faith.
On January 9, 2001 Jason and Rachel had their first child, Samuel James.
“For every revival a voice that penetrates the darkness is raised up. I’ve never heard a clearer voice to this generation nor a purer channel than Jason Upton. In my generation a Keith Green was raised up with a lions roar. The lion can be heard again in the sound and lyrics of this young prophet.” -Lou Engle (The Call)
"A poet with thunder in his voice, a musician with fire in his soul, and a worshipper with truth on his lips. This debut album signals the beginning of a new season of song that will turn back darkness and release praise in the streets. Indeed, it’s already started!" - James Ryle (Author/minister/prophet, Sons of Thunder)
"Jason Upton, what an amazing fresh voice to the body of Christ and to the world. This young man has undeniably just returned from the height of Mount Zion. He sings to the Father with an overwhelming sense of adoration. For those in the church, with ears to hear, he ignites a passion for the secret place of the most high God. To those who have grown cold in heart his voice rings with a holy haunt of the Spirit, crying out "come back home". From the first time I heard Jason Upton I knew God had raised up a voice like unto Jeremiah with the musical passions of King David. Jason's gift will be misunderstood by some, celebrated by others, it will undoubtedly anger hell & delight heaven. One thing for sure is that you won't be able to ignore what Jason is carrying for this generation... Prophetic voices will be heard." - Danny Chambers (Artist, writer, pastor)
"When you hear the passion and intensity in Jason's worship, you'll be stirred to praise Jesus as deeply and exuberantly as he does. Jason approaches God's throne with power, humility, and sincerity... and I believe he is intent on taking everyone in worshipping range along with him!" -Melody Green (author, writer, singer)

Daddy's here it will be all right
You're not alone you're not alone
Don't be afraid when you're cold at night
I will keep you warm I will hold you tight
You're not alone you're not alone
Look beyond the window there
Look beyond what you can see
Close your eyes and just believe
The lion roars and the lamb lays down
They live together in a whole new town
They're calling me and they're calling you
From the cold hard facts that we're on our own
To the age old truth that we're not alone
Don't be afraid when you scrape your knee
I've got a band aide waiting and a kiss for free
You're not alone you're not alone
Don't be afraid of your blind belief
Because the more you fly the more you'll see
You're not alone you're not alone
Look beyond the window there
To the sky above to the open air
Look beyond what you can see
Close your eyes and just believe
The lion roars and the lamb lays down
They live together in a whole new town
They're calling me and they're calling you
From the cold hard facts that we're on our own
To the age old truth that we're not alone
Don't be afraid little warrior bride
Your victory's on the other side
You're not alone you're not alone
The lyrics to Jason Upton's song "Emma" convey a message of comfort, reassurance, and hope. The song begins by addressing a baby, letting them know that their father is there to protect and provide for them. It emphasizes that they are not alone, even in times of fear, cold, or pain. The lyrics encourage the listener to look beyond what is visible and to believe in something greater.
The song then shifts to a metaphorical representation of peace, using the imagery of a lion and a lamb living together in harmony. This symbolizes a world where opposites coexist and where the divisions and loneliness of the human experience are overcome. The lyrics suggest that this unity and connection is calling out to both the listener and the singer, reminding them that they are not alone.
Towards the end of the song, it takes a more uplifting tone, addressing a "warrior bride" and promising victory on the other side of their struggles. This reinforces the theme of hope and encourages perseverance even in challenging circumstances. Overall, "Emma" is a heartfelt and encouraging song that reminds listeners of the presence of love, support, and unity in their lives.
