Mujeres
Javier Calamaro Lyrics

The lyrics of Mujeres by Javier Calamaro portraits a man who is living a life of recklessness and indulgence. The line "Mujeres y vino" translates to "women and wine," and it suggests that the singer of the song doesn't care about anything other than indulging in his desires. He's wandering aimlessly through life and is okay with someone taking advantage of him as long as he gets what he wants.
The next line, "que meta un caño frío en mi sien," translates to "let me put a cold pipe to my temple," and it is a metaphor for self-destruction. The singer is willing to hurt himself to numb the pain of his reality, which suggests that he's in a dark place mentally. However, he doesn't want anyone to stop him from doing what he wants, even if it's harmful to himself.
The chorus, "déjame sangrar; porque voy a volver a las noches de mujeres y vino," translates to "let me bleed, I'm going back to the nights of women and wine." These lines suggest that the singer is aware of the cycle he's in, but he's unable to break free from it. He's addicted to the lifestyle of indulgence and recklessness, and he's willing to hurt himself to continue living in this way.
Overall, the lyrics of Mujeres by Javier Calamaro depict a man who is struggling with addiction and self-destruction. He's aware of his situation, but he's unable to break free from it, and he's willing to hurt himself to continue indulging in his desires.
