Born Jaye Moore Mcgee he moved to Joliet at the age of 16 (to Live with his Grandparents), Jaye at this time was already influenced by a lot of music that was being released at the time – Jaye was influenced by artist such as Drake, Lil Wayne,Gucci Mane, Kanye West & Club scene. After Graduating high school Jaye later began to take his rap career to the next level by buying professional equipment, he later started recording and producing his own rap songs with his producer Preston “Prizzie” Reid . He’d rap about his experiences with girls and his hatred of being stereotyped, indulging in his love of hip-hop, pop rock, and electro remixes to create a brand of alternative rap all of his own.
Late 2009 Jaye released his single entitled “F$&@ Talking” Prod By. Prizzie which lead the single to be featured on Drakes Facebook and lead up to more than 1k+ downloads in less than an hour. Later in 2009 Jaye released Another single Entitled “Say Yea Ft. Prizzie” which lead to the single to be featured on HustleGrl Toronto’s own Biggest Blogger website. Condom Wrappers & Jager Bottles [Mixtape] the begging of a new year and a new genre of ecstasy rap featured leading Single Space Flight Ft. Gucci Mane took of Landing on XXL, HipHopDx, Global Grind, New York Entertainer Magazine and much more. After several weeks Jaye Landed on Dj Drama & Dirty Yella - Trap History [Mixtape] with the leading song Space Flight Ft. Gucci Mane.
During the month of February while Jaye was working on his entitled mixtape Space Jam Jaye the leading song Spread My Wings Ft. Drake & The Remix to It’s Been A Pleasure Ft. Drake Were Leaked on Drake’s Entitled mixtape [Comeback Season 2]. Although any other rapper would have been mad at the situation Jaye viewed it in a positive way leading to the Songs Getting over 200k+ Plays and spread my wings to be featured on The Source, Mixtape Torrent, Global Grind, and much more.
As for now Jaye is in the studio recording the anticipated Mixtape Space Jam Jaye that will feature Major production with major artist and also DJ so stay tuned.
