Broken up in 2007, they reunited in 2009 bringing in a new drummer but an old classmate and friend Fritz Bosshard and JC's drummer from 'A Music Theory' John Jo Presingular as vocalist.

Based on an idea by JC Santos about 'seeing the reality of life inside a jeepney' and the analogy was made to everything, sparked the name of the band and the concepts to follow within the songs.

Jeeps over Taxis concentrates on spontaneity of structure and forming a mood based on this. At times different genres mix within a song. This is where Jeeps over Taxis stand out for it's "fusion" yet "rock/metal" feel.

The most prevailing musical genres of this band are Glam, Heavy Metal, Japanese Rock and Progressive Rock.
