Handsome Devil
Jim Bianco Lyrics

did you think you'd find it here?
where the boys are gladly lonely
but still whisper in your ear
with all their dirty mouths and
all their dirty minds
dirty martini's strangled at the spine
you're chewing on your tongue-
i can make you numb if i try
tell me you need me so I can
leave you here behind
tell me you need me so I can leave.
go to hell you handsome devil
i know what you're thinkin'
but the joke is laughing at you, boy,
you're so sadly mistaken
your face is wearing thin
i can see right through your skin
passed that boyish little grin that you wear
your dirty little mouth
your dirty little mind
That tries so very hard not to care.
Tell me you need me so I can leave
Jim Bianco's "Handsome Devil" is a song about a man who is charming and handsome on the outside but who is a devil on the inside. The song deals with the theme of deception and how easy it is to be fooled by someone who seems too good to be true. The lyrics are directed towards this handsome devil, who is trying to manipulate the singer into believing his lies. The devil is compared to an angel who has misplaced his halo and is trying to find it in the wrong place.
The singer is aware that the devil is trying to deceive her by whispering sweet nothings in her ear, but she is not fooled by his charm. She sees through his facade and is not afraid to call him out on his lies. The devil's dirty mouth, dirty mind, and dirty martini's are all symbols of his impurity and deceit.
The singer challenges the devil by telling him to go to hell and that she is not fooled by his tricks. She sees right through his boyish grin and knows that he is not as innocent as he seems. The song ends with the singer asking the devil to tell her that he needs her so that she can leave him behind and move on from his lies.
