Not a day goes by that I don't remember and miss this man.

@tommielourogers4327

One of my favorites from his Blue Grass days at Funny Fellows. Joe you are missed. RIP my dear friend.

@inatangle

This is heartbreakingly beautiful.

@MoGiMaL

Beautiful tune. Thank you Joe. Thanks for putting this up.

@IWatchedWhat

You are missed Joe.

@corso64

Also on his "Who Fears the Devil" CD inspired by Manly Wade Wellman's collected Silver John/John the Balladeer series. Both the book of collected short stories and this CD are well worth seeking out. Joe, Silver John and Manly Wade Wellman are missed, every day.

@KermitP

Original poem was by Roy Helton. Nice adaptation.

@davidbrooks8426

He is using sawmill tuning (gDGCD). Key of G minor. In the verses, he alternates between the G minor chord with the index finger on the 2nd fret of the 2nd string and the F chord (with the 2nd string open since it is already raised to C in sawmill tuning).

Anyone have any idea what this tuned to?
