La Gloria de Chile
Joe Vasconcellos Lyrics
La gloria de Chile
Queda en la otra esquina
Cerca de la calle
Carmen y Sierra Bella
Consulté no más patrón
Lo que usted quiera
Aquí en el barrio
Sólo hay cariño
Y da la pasá
La gente es buena
Y da la pasá
Piden que los escuchen
Alguna vez
Cantando en coro
Lo mejor de la vida
Al despertar no olvides
Que eres artista
Palabra amable, paz
Menos prisa
Súbete al sueño
No hay que dudar, no hay, no
No hay que dudar caballero
No hay
Recuerda que donde hay fe
Hay esperanza
Que donde hay fe
Hay esperanza
Que donde hay fe
Hay esperanza
La gloria de Chile
Vive aquí en mi pecho
Toca el organillo, baila y es lizana
Él sabe que el día a día
En una guerra, es amigo mío
Bueno pa'l frío
Parte temprano va a trabajar
Es su manera de hacer soñar
Así es la gente humilde
De norte a sur
Gente que ve la vida
Sin antifaz
A viva voz cantando su maestría
Me hacen sentir feliz de vivir acá
Piden que los escuchen
Alguna vez
Cantando en coro lo mejor
De la vida
Al despertar agradece
La sonrisa
Palabra amable, paz
Menos prisa
Súbete al sueño
¡No hay que dudar! No hay, no
No hay que dudar, caballero, no hay
Recuerda que donde hay fe
Hay esperanza
Que donde hay fe
Hay esperanza
Que donde hay fe

José Manuel Yáñez Meira de Vasconcellos, known as Joe Vasconcellos, is a singer and composer born in Santiago, Chile on March 9, 1959, to a chilean mother and brazilian father. He developed a unique latin american fusion borne out of a life of traveling, dominated by latin and brazilian rhythms. Songs like Huellas and Hijo del Sol Luminoso (written while he played as part of the band Congreso) became hits from the beginning. In his eclecticism, his music still breathes from the roots of the local traditional chilean music.
