This scene just shows how incompetent the fireflies are. Earlier Marlene talked about how she almost died crossing the country with only 5 men. This just shows how capable he is as a survivor. A One man Army
Biwart
It's funny how once Joel passes out, he wakes up probably after some hour, and the Fireflies in that span of time decided that the only immune person that they have ever met was going to die during the operation
in the first game you could also see that Ellie's operation room was really dirty, imagine these guys trying to mass distribute the "cure", instead they got owned by one man that was getting weaker because of age
Pierre-Charles Léonhart
This version of the ending is based on the ending of Unforgiven
Josswag De Pimpdaddy
@Biwart even in the first game for the ps3 before the remake or show if you walk around the hospital and get the collectibles, some of them are from the fireflies' doctor's talking about how they tries to create the cure using immune people and it didn't work.
Pierre-Charles Léonhart
@Josswag De Pimpdaddy But they also mention that they “had never gone across a case of genuine immunity” (I’m quoting Marlene’s audiolog directly lol)
SDU-Tango
How did Marlene get there so fast and why didn't she transport Ellie herself if they can get there safely with more man power.
Sub Scorpion#9
I’m honestly glad he spared the nurses. It shows that while he’s a brutal killer, even he has some limits of his brutality

I think one of them is played by Abby's game actress. Oh God no
