Hij is een Nederlandse rapper met Marrokkaanse roots. Hij werkt veel samen met Kevin, Sevn Alias & Sellwin.

De carrière van Johnny Sellah

De rapper uit Rotterdam tekende in 2016 een contract bij het label Rotterdam Airlines. De relatie met het label ging met ups en downs, want hij stopte met rappen in 2018, maar begon in 2019 toch weer te releasen onder het label. In 2020 richte hij zijn eigen label Cité Records op.De rapper stond onder andere op het succesvolle Gate 16 album van Rotterdam Airlines. En zo mocht hij mee naar 101 Barz met het label.

Johnny Sellah heeft nooit onder stoelen of banken gestoken dat hij bezig was met verdienen. En niet op een legale manier. Hij heeft meerdere keren vastgezeten, onder andere ook in België. Sellah zat in 2017 voor negen maanden vast in het Franstalige gedeelte van België. De reden hiervoor was het verhandelen van drugs. Dit was niet de eerste keer dat de Rotterdamse rapper vastzat. Hij heeft hiervoor ook een straf van 9 maanden uit moeten zitten.Tijdens zijn detentie in België zat de rapper voornamelijk vast op zijn kamer, hij mocht 1 uurtje per dag luchten op de luchtplaats. Vervolgens werd hij weer in zijn cel gezet met 6 andere gedetineerden. Zijn celgenoten herkenden de rapper.
