I treated you bad
And wrong my dear
And girl since,
Since you been away
Don'tcha know
I sit around
With my head hangin' down
Who's lovin you
I, I, I, I should have never ever
Ever made you cry
And girl since
Since you been gone
Don'tcha know
I sit around
With my head hangin' down
And I wonder
Who's lovin you
Life without love
Is oh so lonely
I don't think
I don't think
I'm gonna make it
All my life
All my life, yeah
Belongs to you only
Come on and take it girl
Come on and take it!
Because,
All I can do
All I can do
Since you been gone is cry
And you, oooh
Don'tcha know I
Sit around
With my head hangin down
And I wonder
Who's lovin' you
(Who's lovin you)
Who's lovin you...
The lyrics to Josh Levi's song Who's Lovin' You seem to focus on a man's regret for not treating his former lover well, as well as his longing to know if someone else is filling the space he left. The song begins with the singer acknowledging that he treated his former partner poorly and expressing regret for his actions. He acknowledges that since the woman left, he feels lost and alone, and wonders who else is providing her with the love and attention she deserves. This sense of longing is repeated throughout the song, as he laments the fact that he can't be with the person he once loved, and can only sit and wonder about her current love life. The overall tone of the song is one of remorse and sadness, as the singer comes to terms with the fact that he's lost the most important person in his life.
Overall, this song seems to be about the pain and regret of lost love, and the longing to know if someone else has stepped in to fill the void left behind. It's a relatable theme that's been explored in countless songs, but the raw emotion and passion that Josh Levi brings to the lyrics make it stand out as a poignant and heartfelt ballad.
