Junior Wells had Earl Hooker and Buddy Guy; he's practically the original John Mayall! John Mayall has a good blues voice, but beyond that, he just doesn't compare to Junior Wells. Harmonica playing is about the same.

when u said dude man the big labowski was my 1st thought lol,but obviously u mean earl hooker,im really impressed with junior wells n buddy guys 65 lp u can hear a jb influence in his vocal style n every tune is quality,if u like funk i recommend jazzman records,tramp records stonesthrow n bgp,most have sounclips on their websites,arhoolie has some great blues on their label,but im guessin u know that,b gd but if yr naughty b nice,i will checkout earl hooker have a nice evening.

ive only put a few standout psych punk tunes on really,i was going thru peoples rarities the top top tunes will impress u,but there is alot of funk soul jazzfunk n blues i havnt put on cos ive got it already,check my new list n tell me what u think,the miles davis gigs should b on next 2 my list,if u dont like the punk psych tell me n ill put more funk or blues on,60s n early 70s funk ive been collecting the most so much quality,ive covered this genre the most.b good n keep smileing jamie.

hello sherry some old favs of mine,eugene mcdaniels 2 lps,terry callier lp what colour is love,the 24 carat black lp has some fine moments,n catalyst a usa jazzfunk band who did 4 lps between 70 n 74,herbie hancock n the headhunters live in germany 73 n japan 74,big mama live 1970,n the supershow 69 with buddy guy,also blues festival 62 to 69 vol 1 2 n 3 its quality live gigs,ill checkout the lebonese dude man,remember always smile from within its the key 2 tru happyness,have a great evening

i kinda thought surf came from people who got sand in their cracks,i c what yr sayin sherry,i got 2 bugs n a roach its funky with some nice drums,ive heard 1 top notch tune that is desribed as surf but its punk psych with rawness n exsperimentation,surf is so plastic n the beach boys i hate it,when people call it soulful i get abusive,hendrix cussed em on his 1st lp in 67 some1 had 2,checkout terry callier,dancing girl,n candyman,also catalyst the demon part 2, lp is called a tear n a smile.
