Born in the Netherlands on the 4th of October 1994, Jordin Post (better kno… Read Full Bio ↴Born in the Netherlands on the 4th of October 1994, Jordin Post (better known as Juventa) is quite early to enter the electronic music scene. He has been producing since he was seven, but just recently started to make some real progress in his career as a producer. Inspired by the electronic music he had been hearing for several years, he began producing music in 2000. Since then his techniques grew rapidly, learning most by himself. Though he hasn't stopped developing yet, he has already managed to create his own recognizable style and sound, which can be defined as a blend of Uplifting and Progressive Trance. Having huge support already and working together with some big names, this is probably just the start of something great.
Post was also part of the project KUURO together with Luke Shipstad. The duo announced Post' departure on Twitter the 29th of April 2020, the reason being for Post to focus on his own music. Shipstad would continue the KUURO project alone.

Nice to see someone who is on the same level as me. As well as the "sound signatures" of individual artists the emotion has also been stripped away from most tracks now and that was what got me hooked to trance in the first place. I don't mind change and evolution or whatever people want to call it, just so long as the tracks still have heart & soul, which they don't unfortunately.

This is actually one of the better ones, although I really miss his 138bpm productions, where most of them were superb (Gone With The Wind sticks out). Generally, this track could've been produced by anyone, which is my issue with 'trance' these days. Individual 'personalities' don't shine through any more. Sad, really.

You also have to account for the fact that most of the people who buy these tracks are DJs themselves and they want to make music they can play in clubs, and so what youre seeing mainly is music that is suited to club environments with musicians that are supporting each other. Also a lot of the poppier, modern trance, such as this tune, has some brilliant chord progressions to compliment the minimalist songwriting. It works great, check Bluestone and Jerome IA's new collab

I like Jordin's Trance discography, uplifting to melancholic, fast to slow. I like the crunchier works like Beauty Catch, Roadtest, Metamorphose. I like the more ethereal works like Ocean Sparkles, Suèdine ('83 Remode). I've bought forty-five Juventa works. My thoughts on THIS track are that I'll never buy it, because it doesn't appeal to me. It's not the first Juventa track like that, and it probably won't be the last. However, despite being a total idiot, I have the mental maturity to MOVE ON.
