K-Def Lyrics

Love will not elude you, love is simple
I worship this tenacity and the beautiful struggle we're in
Love will not elude us, love is simple
Be sure to know that all in love is ours
That love is a philosophy, is simple
I am calm in oblivion, calm as I ever have been
Love will not elude me, love is simple
That all in love is ours
That love is a philosophy, is simple
And ours
In the first stanza, the lyrics convey an image of a "flawless light" shining in the midst of darkness, symbolizing hope or positivity in a challenging or difficult situation. The notion that "love will not elude you" suggests that despite hardships, love is something constant and attainable. This could speak to the idea that love is not complicated but rather straightforward and within reach, even in the face of adversity.
The mention of "tenacity" and the "beautiful struggle we're in" adds depth to the narrative, highlighting the resilience and strength needed to navigate life's obstacles. The affirmation that "love will not elude us" reinforces the idea that love is not a fleeting or unattainable concept but rather something durable and uncomplicated. The lyrics seem to emphasize the importance of embracing the challenges that come with love, recognizing them as part of a beautiful journey.
The repetition of the phrase "be sure to know that all in love is ours" underscores the idea of collective ownership and shared experiences within love. This could suggest that love is not an individual pursuit but a communal one, where the joys and struggles are shared among partners or loved ones. The declaration that "love is a philosophy" further deepens the interpretation by suggesting that love is not just an emotion but a guiding principle or belief system.
The closing lines of the song reinforce the idea of calmness and peace in the midst of chaos or uncertainty. The affirmation that "love will not elude me" and the repetition of the phrase "is ours" reinforce the sense of stability and reassurance that love brings. The simplicity of love is highlighted once again, suggesting that amidst the complexities of life, love remains a grounding force that is accessible and enduring.
