The girl wondered why the artist was just standing in one spot, and she told him that she was trying to make some money.

The artist asked the girl how she had been doing, and she found it amusing that he would ask.

The girl told the artist that she was going through a financial hardship due to the tough economic times.

The girl reiterated to the artist how tough the times were.

But if you give me fifty dollars I'll let you get a hundred in groceries off my car"
The girl offered to sell the artist a hundred dollars worth of groceries for fifty dollars.

I started thinking, how she used to look over me
The artist reflected on how the girl used to treat him in the past.

The girl used to act as if she was better than the artist and would act rude towards him.

She was noticeably roasting for cash, no lover had looks that kill
The girl was desperate for money and looked nothing like she used to.

Even though I was holding some old school grill, cause I ain't crazy I took that seal
Despite the girl's appearance and her past behavior, the artist still gave her his money and bought the groceries.

Now, I met this other female, she was nice at first

It started good and then she went from bad to twice as worse
The girl's behavior quickly went from good to terrible.

The artist confronted the girl on her behavior, and reminded her that they weren't even dating.

Three hours later, she's was camped out in the front of my house
Despite the artist's confrontation, the girl showed up at his house and wouldn't leave.
