The lyrics to K.K.'s song "Karo Karo Salaam" are a plea to a loved one to stop being stubborn and relent in their resistance to the singer's affections. The first two lines urge the person to stop being stubborn and hold back the night, presumably meaning that if they continue to resist the singer's love, they will be alone forever. The singer then says that if the person accepts their love, they will receive loyalty in return.
The chorus repeats the singer's willingness to worship the person and pleads for guidance on what to do. They also indicate that they feel as though the person's gaze will lead them astray from their true path.
The final verse speaks of the agony and intoxication the singer feels as their love goes unanswered. The line "now that all of my life has gone, my heart will be tied up in knots" expresses their fear that they will never get a chance to express their love and they will be left feeling incomplete.
Overall, the lyrics to "Karo Karo Salaam" are a poignant and heartfelt plea for understanding and acceptance that will resonate with anyone who has loved someone who doesn't love them back.
