Where Do We Go
KK Lyrics

Put me in your past
You can never leave me there
But you never wanted to embrace all of me
Girl, I'll never be
What you want me to be, yeah
Where do we go?
Said I wanna know
Is that too much to ask for?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Let's try to work it out
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
I ask you questions but you never had the time to
Answer them or even appear to know why
Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever wait for you
Sometimes I wonder if you're ever made for two
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Said I wanna know
Is that too much to ask for?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Let's try to work it out
Where do we go now?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
Time's running out
Tell me what you want
You gotta tell me what it is that you want
Time's running out
Tell me what you want
You gotta tell me what it is that you want girl
Where?
Where?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
Where do we go?
I wanna know
Where do we go?
The song "Where Do We Go" by KK seems to be about a struggling relationship between two people who aren't sure where they stand with each other. The opening lyrics suggest that the woman had the man in her grasp but eventually let him go, but still holds onto him in some way. The man sings about feeling like he is not enough for her or not what she wants him to be. He is asking where they go from here, as the confusion and lack of communication in the relationship is causing both of them to feel lost and unsure.
Throughout the song, the man asks the woman a series of questions in hopes of receiving some kind of answers or clarity about their relationship. He wonders if she has the time for him or if they are truly meant to be together. He seems hesitant to move on but also unsure if he should wait for her. The chorus repeatedly asks "where do we go?" while also acknowledging that it may be too much to ask for answers.
Overall, "Where Do We Go" is a song about a relationship in limbo, with both parties feeling lost and in need of direction. The repeated questioning of where to go next indicates a sense of desperation and a need for resolution or closure.
