Kal yaad aayenge yeh pal
Pal, yeh hain pyaar ke pal
Chal, aa mere sang chal
Chal, soche kya
Chhoti si hai zindagi
Kal mil jaaye to hogi khushnaseebi
Hum rahe ya na rahe, yaad aayenge yeh pal) - 2
Dekho voh raat suhaani
Aa likh de hum donon milke
Apni yeh prem kahaani
Hum rahe ya na rahe, yaad aayenge yeh pal
Aane waali subha jaane
Rang kya laaye deewaani
Meri chaahat ko rakh lena
Jaise koi nishaani
Hum rahe ya na rahe, yaad aayenge yeh pal
Hum rahe ya na rahe kal
Kal yaad aayenge yeh pal
Pal, yeh hain pyaar ke pal
Chal, aa mere sang chal
Chal, soche kya
Chhoti si hai zindagi
Kal mil jaaye to hogi khushnaseebi
Hum rahe ya na rahe, yaad aayenge yeh pal - 2
The song "Pyaar Ke Pal" by KK is about cherishing the moments of love and togetherness that one experiences in life. The lyrics depict the idea that these moments may not last forever but the memories will stay with us forever. The song starts with the lines, "Hum rahe ya na rahe kal, Kal yaad aayenge yeh pal" which means 'Whether we live or not tomorrow, these moments will be remembered tomorrow.' The next lines, "Pal, yeh hain pyaar ke pal, Chal, aa mere sang chal, Chal, soche kya" suggest that these moments are the moments of love and joy, and one should embrace them rather than thinking about anything else.
The song talks about how love can make even an ordinary life like a fairy tale, where every minute spent together becomes a precious memory. The verse "Aa likh de hum donon milke, Apni yeh prem kahaani" means 'Let's write our love story together,' suggesting that these moments should be cherished and recorded as they are the moments that make life worth living. The final lines, "Chhoti si hai zindagi, Kal mil jaaye to hogi khushnaseebi, Hum rahe ya na rahe, yaad aayenge yeh pal" means 'Life is short, if we meet tomorrow we will be lucky, these moments will be remembered.'
Overall, the song conveys the message that love brings joy, even if briefly, and one should cherish every moment spent with loved ones as memories last forever even after people are gone.

I can't even imagine what Leslie sir and Hariharan sir is going through.
Hariharan sir spotted KK performing at a restaurant and promptly asked him to come to Mumbai. Hariharan sir recommended KK to Leslie and praised him highly for his singing talent.
Leslie and KK met for the first time at Purple Haze Studio Bandra to just familiarize themselves with each other.
Soon KK was singing jingles for Leslie and Leslie eventually decided to compile these jingles and send them to Sony Music international for considering KK as their debut artist in India.
KK finally got the shot with Sony and collaborated with Leslie to co-produce the cult album PAL.
The rest is history.........
This song changed the music scene, shaped our childhood emotions and KK became unstoppable.
25+ years of pure music, blazing stage presence and dedication to his art form.
