Get Lost
Kanye West Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I still get lost in the night
Lost in my dreaming time
Memories back from fine
Back to get all my time
I still get lost, what's mine?
Memories back from time
All my thoughts on at night
All my life's on the line
I still get lost in the night
Memories back from mine
'Member we had one night?
'Member we had the night?
I still get lost sometimes
Memories haunting mind
'Member we had the mind?
'Member we had the mind?
I'm gon' get lost sometimes
'Member we cry sometimes
I went through fine, oh, fine
When you was mine, all mine
Somehow we got to meet
Now I keep to darker streets
Fucked up without the love
Parker without the cleats
Fucked up and on repeat
Above the night I beat
I done went back to sleep
What a new sight to see
What do you write for me?
What will fit right for me?
I did what's right for me
I fought from fighting me
Well, I would like to see
I still get lost sometimes
Far from my state of mind
Stay on the vibes alright
When do I cross your mind?
When do you see my pride?
I've got a Pablo shine
Pride is the number line
Okay, well, never mind
Okay, then, never mind
Do I still cross your mind?

If not, then, never mind
If not, then, never mind

I got a question if a man tells another man to kill, who is at fault? Some would argue that the second man just followed an order and the bloodshed is on the one who gave the order. Others would argue the first man was just speaking words were as the second was the one that physically laid hands on the victim

I BELIEVE Satan argues that neither are responsible, that there is a loophole for bloodshed here and that’s why he doesn’t kill humans directly but gets his followers to carry out his temptations and suggestions and in his sick mind neither him nor the wicked can be punished in this paradox

But I ALSO BELIEVE gods reasoning is that both men are to blame

Because in genesis all 3 Adam eve and the serpent was punished even though one was deceived one was given of the fruit and one just used his freedom of speech

This is my theory

@myselfpiro

i think the one who ordered the murder is at fault, because even if the second one denied to do it the first person will still try to find a way to kill and it is the first person who has been premeditating the murder all this while which is also important to consider.

Both the man who tells another man to kill and the man who kills are at fault. They are both guilty of sin and liable to God’s judgment. They cannot blame each other or God for their actions, but they must take responsibility for their choices and deeds. They both need God’s forgiveness and grace in Christ.

@giggycresent2757

Both men are at fault. The free will given to man by God gives us the power to choose our own actions. The man who asks another man to kill does so with the assumption that he will do so, and therefore the evil act of murder weighs on him as well. The man who receives the order has the power within himself to refuse. If he chooses still to carry out the deed, he too is for blame.

@myselfpiro

@@giggycresent2757 what if he is forced to carry out the order?
