Welcome To Heartbreak
Kanye West Lyrics

My friend showed me pictures of his kids
And all I could show him was pictures of my cribs
He said his daughter got a brand new report card (card)
And all I got was a brand new sports car
Uh

And my head keeps spinning
Can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo
And my head keeps spinning
I can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo

Dad cracked a joke all the kids laugh
But I couldn't hear 'em all the way in first class
Chased the good life my whole life long
Look back on my life and my life gone
Where did I go wrong?

And my head keeps spinning
Can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo
And my head keeps spinning
I can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo

I seen it, I seen it before
I seen it, I seen it before
I've seen it, I've seen it before
I seen it, I seen it before

My God-sister gettin' married by the lake
But I couldn't figure out who I want to take
Bad enough that I showed up late
I had to leave 'fore they even cut the cake
Welcome to Heartbreak

And my head keeps spinning
Can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo
And my head keeps spinning
I can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo

Ooh-hoo
Ooh-hoo
Ooh-hoo

And I, and I can't stop
No, no, I can't stop
No, no, no, no, I can't stop
No, no, no, no, I can't stop
Can't stop, I can't stop, I can't stop
No, no, no, no
No, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, oh-whoa
No, no, I can't stop

No, can't stop having these visions
I gotta get wit' it
Ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo, ooh-hoo
Hoo-hoo
Ooh-hoo
Ooh, ooh-hoo

Best song on the Album.
It may be his best song ever based on how relevant it became to his life.

His whole life is heartbreak. Destined to be misunderstood. Destined to be overlooked and judged by people who don't even listen to the music.

Even now, Kanye's head keeps spinning, he can't stop having these visions, he's gotta get with it.

The video is a true match to the message.
It matches his career.
If you look honestly, you can see Kanye in the distractions, but you look superficially, you see malfunctioning garbage.

Some dont get the premise of this track it seems. And some fully do and can relate, whether fame or whatever they were striving for.

Kanye chased fame with tunnel vision, he achieved it, but it didnt fill a void like he thought, and likely created "new goals/voids" which is never ending!

During the grind, he see'a other enjoying normal lives and all of the things normal people experience (having kids, time with family, the small things, etc)

This was before he had kids and after losing his mother whom was mother, supporter, best friend, and even manager so I'm sure he was in a very low place.

Thats the premise here and very relatable for artists or those with similar mindsets as Ye.
(I'm sure 99% of you know this but was reading the comments and u know how that can go)

This was so ahead of it’s time in every aspect. I always find myself coming back to this years later and it still sounds amazing! This is what you call a classic song that can stand the test of time. A song that breaks boundaries. Visually, it looks like it could’ve been released this year.

Yup entire album is a classic. Kanye during this era in hip-hop was untouchable
