Pelo Telefone
Karametade Lyrics

Eu quero ver olhos nos olhos
Você me dizer que terminou
Pelo telefone não amor
Eu quero ouvir teu coração falar pro meu
Que não me amou
Quero ouvir você dizer
Que não quis essa paixão
Que foi só prazer
Apenas sedução
Olha dentro de você
Antes de dizer que não
Lembra da gente se amando
Corpo transbordando de
Tanta emoção
Sei que o coração
A gente não pode enganar
Não dá, não dá
Não dá, pra enganar
Com certeza a solidão vai chegar
E a saudade no peito bater
Nessa hora você vai dizer
Meu nome sem querer

The song "Pelo Telefone" by Karametade is a heart-wrenching ballad about the pain of a breakup and the longing for closure. The lyrics express the singer's desire to talk face-to-face with their former lover, rather than ending things over the phone. They want to see the other person's eyes and hear their heart speak the truth about why the relationship ended. The singer begs to hear their former lover say that they didn't really love them, that it was just a fleeting passion or lust.
The song makes use of poetic imagery to convey the intense emotions of the singer. They describe the memory of their passionate relationship, with bodies overflowing with emotion, yet now faced with the harsh reality of loneliness and heartache. The repetition of the phrase "não dá" emphasizes the impossibility of fooling the heart, and the inevitability of eventual loneliness and painful memories.
Overall, "Pelo Telefone" is a poignant reminder of the power of love and the pain of loss, and the importance of honesty and communication in relationships.
