On October 2019, Karametade also announced their return on the show "A Noite" on TV channel SBT, also discussing the origins of the band. The group planned to go on tour starting in January 2020 to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band, but were found themselves unable to fulfill their plans due to the pandemic. In mid 2020, Singer Vavá revealed that he was fighting depression and alcoholism. Later on, the group reunited in lives including shows on YouTube.

É um epsódio relicário
Que artista no sonho genial
Escolheu para este carnaval
E o asfalto como passarela
Será a tela do Brasil em forma de aquarela
Passeando pelas cercanias do Amazonas
Conheci vastos seringais
E as velhas cabanas do Timbó
Caminhando ainda um pouco mais
Deparei com lindos coqueirais
Estava no Ceará
Terra de Irapuã, de Iracema e Tupã
Fiquei radiante de alegria
Quando cheguei na Bahia
Bahia de Castro Alves, do acarajé
Das noites de magia do candomblé
Depois de atravessar as matas do Ipu
Assisti em Pernambuco
A festa do Frevo e do Maracatu
Brasília tem o seu destaque
Na arte, na beleza, arquitetura
Feitiço de garoa pela serra
São Paulo engrandece a nossa terra
No Leste, por todo Centro-Oeste
Tudo é belo e tem lindo matiz
E o Rio dos sambas e batucadas
Dos malandros e mulatas
De requebros febris
Brasil, essas nossas verdees matas
Cachoeiras e cascatas de colorido sutil
E este lindo céu azul de anil
Emolduram aquarela ao meu Brasil
The lyrics to Karametade's Aquarela Brasileira depict the beauty of Brazil through the eyes of an artist in a dream-like state. The song describes the various regions of Brazil, their unique features, and cultural traditions. The use of the word "aquarela" (watercolor) in the title and lyrics of the song conveys the idea that Brazil is like a painting, with its vibrant colors and natural landscapes. The song describes the Amazon Rainforest, the state of Pará, the island of Marajó, and the society of the Timbó tribe; it then moves on to the coasts of Ceará and the city of Bahia, famous for its music, dance, and cuisine. The song also praises the beauty of Brasília, the capital city of Brazil, and the art and architecture of São Paulo. The lyrics end with a grandiose description of the country's natural wonders, such as the green forests, waterfalls, and clear blue skies.
One interesting fact about the song is that it was written by a non-Brazilian artist, Ary Barroso, who was born in Brazil but later moved to the United States. Another interesting fact is that the song has been covered by several Brazilian artists, most notably Gal Costa, who released her own version of the song in 1979. The song is often played during the Carnaval season in Brazil as it captures the essence of the festivities. Aquarela Brasileira is considered a classic Brazilian song and has been featured in numerous films, television shows, and advertisements. Another interesting fact is that the song's opening melody was borrowed from a popular carnival march called "Sassaricando" by Luís Antônio and Oldemar Magalhães.
