The lyrics of Karina's song "Baby Baby" showcases the singer's pride for being a child of the 90s. Throughout the track, she talks about different aspects of life during this era, including corner stores, double dutch, and Brooklyn. The song opens with Karina expressing her confidence in her musical abilities, mentioning that fans always question where she is from. Karina goes on to say that her whole life is like a movie, potentially referencing the cinema culture that was prominent during the 90s.
She then goes on to introduce her listeners to a version of herself that she calls the "neatest arrogant." It is possible that this is Karina's alter ego, representing the confidence and assertiveness that she embodies in her music. The next verse mentions Karina's physical attractiveness and her desire to make sure that people don't forget about her.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Calling you all up to my train," perhaps indicating Karina's desire to transport her listeners back to the 90s. She invites her fans to join her in celebrating the culture and memory of this decade.
Overall, the lyrics convey Karina's love for the 90s and her commitment to representing her generation. The song has a very nostalgic feel, highlighting many different elements of life during this time period.
