He was born in Sardinia and music's been his hottest passion since he was a kid. He took guitar lessons at 10 but he quitted 4 years later. His true passion was and has always been keyboards, synth sounds, electronics… He couldn't find any keyboards courses so he took singing lessons to sing along his guitar tunes, and that was when he desperately fell in love with vocals & music. Unfortunately, a musical career was quite hard to pursue, chances were few to sing somewhere. Almost by chance a friend of his took him to a small private radio company. He began as a sound engineer, making his first steps into the world of vinyl music and he took great interest into dance sounds (or disco music as we used to call it back then). He can still recall the flavor of Donna Summer's disco tunes…

Miscellaneous
Would You Follow Me
Would you follow me if I search for another life
Would you walk with me through the dark and the hungry times
If I said, "I'm gonna leave today"
What would you do
Would you pack some things and come away too
Lose or win, thick or thin
Where would you like to be
Lose or win, thick or thin
Would you follow me
Would you follow me
Even though my dreams seem too far away today
Take a chance and
Stand by my side and
Lose or win, thick or thin
Where would you like to be
Lose or win, thick or thin
Would you follow me
Would you follow me
If I said I'm goin' away to join some revolution
Could you ever give up what they call the "good life"
Would you care to know what I'm lookin' for
And if I find it
Would you take note of the time, would you mind it
Lose or win, thick or thin
Where would you like to be
Lose or win, thick or thin
Would you follow me
Would you follow me
The lyrics of Karl Olivas's song "Follow Me" ask a series of hypothetical questions to a potential romantic partner, contemplating whether they would be willing to follow the singer on a journey through uncertainty and insecurity. The song opens with the singer asking, "Would you follow me if I search for another life? Would you walk with me through the dark and the hungry times?" These lines set the tone for the rest of the song, which probes the extent of the connection between the singer and their partner.
The tone of the song is somewhat melancholic, and the chorus repeatedly asks, "Lose or win, thick or thin, where would you like to be? Would you follow me?" These lines suggest that the singer may not know what they want or where they are going, but they need the support and faith of a partner to persevere nonetheless. The final verse of the song imagines the singer leaving to "join some revolution," asking their partner whether they would be willing to give up their privileged life in order to be with the singer, and whether they would understand the singer's motivations for leaving.
Overall, "Follow Me" is a song about insecurity and the search for a deeper connection, and the lyrics ask whether a partner can truly be trusted to stand by the singer's side, through good times and bad. The questions posed in the song suggest a longing for stability and support, even when pursuing a path that may seem uncertain or risky.
