Voice of an angel!!! π The song goes straight to the heart!!
@BigSplenda1885
It's not a Christy song, she covered it. It's a Newfoundland song by Ron Hynes
@ianbuckingham5509
Oooh! Christy would be proud of this rendition of a haunting lament!
@rocketpost1
Lovely version of this song with great vocal by KP and haunting fiddle from Ciaran. Although the song is associated with Christy Moore, it was actually written by a Canadian guy called Ron Hynes who died in 2015.

Hi from Australia:) hoping there will be festivals again soon and that we can hear you on stage here sometime. I am really enjoying your songs and your voice and am looking forward to hearing all of your new release (we canβt hear all the tracks over here yet dammit). I love Icarus and Eurydice especially, Wolf is pretty good too lol, and your duet version of Blackwater side is just lovelyβ¦. Thanks to you and the wonderful musicians you are playing with for sharing your talents with us all. Stay safe and well. ππ½ππ½
