Keith Lancaster Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
We are not bound anymore
We must follow any course
To open doors and fallen walls
1.Lord give me the courage to listen
When you're speaking(when you're speaking)
So i can be ready (so i can be ready) to practice what i'm preaching
The world is changing (changing) in ways that we've been hoping
2.The people are searching(searching,
Searching) and willing to take chances
We've got to be servants (we've got to be servants) it's time we make
Advances(we making advances) the need is
Urgent (yeah) and time is of the essence,
Let's take 'em the Gospel so they can know it's presence.
(Back to Chorus).
(Back to Chorus).
The lyrics to Keith Lancaster's song "Fallen Walls and Open Doors" suggest that the world is changing rapidly and people need to adapt to the changing times by being open to new ideas and taking chances. The song urges listeners to have the courage to listen to the Lord's voice and practice what they preach. This means following any course that will open up new doors and help overcome obstacles or fallen walls. The chorus repeats the phrase "Fallen walls and open doors, we are not bound anymore" emphasizing the message that we have the power to break free from constraints and limitations.
The first verse of the song acknowledges the need to stay alert and pay attention to what is going on around us. The lyrics suggest that the world is changing in ways that we hope for, and it is up to us to take advantage of the opportunities that arise. The second verse emphasizes the importance of being servants and making advances in sharing the gospel with others. The need for urgent action is stressed, and the message is clear that time is of the essence.
Overall, the song is a call to action, urging listeners to open their hearts and minds to the possibilities that exist, and to take bold steps forward in pursuit of their goals. The lyrics are uplifting and inspiring, but also grounded in the reality of the challenges that we face.
