On December 12th, 2006, Kemuri posted a "break up message" on their web site. They said they had done much more than they expected as a band and that this break up would be the most positive conclusion to their band (keeping in line with their PMA message). Their last show was on December 9th, 2007 at the Zepp in Tokyo. In 2012, the band made their reunion tour in Tokyo and in the U.S. In 2013, they released their brand new album "All for This!" June 5th in Japan.
Band members:
* Fumio Ito (伊藤ふみお), vocals
* Noriaki Tsuda (津田紀昭), bass
* Hidenori Minami (南英紀), guitar
* Shoji Hiraya (平谷庄至), drums
* Ken Kobayashi (コバヤシケン), saxophone
* Ryosuke Morimura (森村亮介), former trumpet player who passed away in 2003.
The Rhythm
Kemuri Lyrics

Somehow it seems so dead and dry here
Can not find anything in this fog
Lack of confidence stops the steps
Stand like a dead tree going nowhere
So lost now in this society
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Don't be afraid the rhythm will tell
Always look for inside
So many people in the world
So many different kinds of rhythms exit so
Very confusing and
It's too noisy to realize
May be you feel you have to be dancing
With a rhythm of someone else
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Dance and walk with a rhythm of yours
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Don't be ashamed to dance alone
Other rhythms bring you disorders
Even though they sound and look so cool
Nothing can be better than the one
Some people like to dance but
They don't try to listen to the rhythm
Some people like to dance 'cause
Many say it's so cool dance
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Dance and walk with a rhythm of yours
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Don't be ashamed to dance alone
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Don't look around just close the eyes
Listen to the rhythm comes from inside
Don't be afraid the rhythm will tell
Other rhythms bring you disorders
Even though they sound and look so cool
Nothing can be better than the one
Kemuri's song The Rhythm is a powerful expression of individuality and the importance of finding one's own rhythm in the midst of a noisy and confusing society. The opening lines of the song express a sense of loneliness and lack of direction, with the imagery of being "like a dead tree going nowhere" emphasizing the emptiness of feeling lost in the world. However, the song offers a solution in the form of listening to the rhythm that comes from within oneself, rather than trying to conform to the rhythms of others.
The second verse acknowledges the overwhelming number of different rhythms in the world, and the difficulty of navigating them. The line "It's too noisy to realize" suggests that the cacophony of different rhythms can be overwhelming and lead to a sense of confusion and disorientation. The chorus repeats the message of finding one's own rhythm and not being afraid to dance alone, with the lines "Don't be ashamed to dance alone" emphasizing the importance of embracing individuality rather than conforming to social expectations.
The bridge of the song warns against the dangers of following other people's rhythms, which can lead to "disorders" even if they seem cool or popular. The final repetition of the chorus emphasizes once again the importance of listening to the rhythm from within, rather than being distracted by external influences.
Overall, Kemuri's The Rhythm is a powerful message of individuality and the importance of embracing one's own unique rhythm, rather than conforming to social expectations or following the rhythms of others.
