Grupa je tada snimala neka svoja prva autorska djela u studiju Predraga Trpkova na Krku. Pod nazivom SIJEČANJA snima svoj prvi demo uredak s kojim se pojavljuje na gitarijadama u Rijeci i okolici te nastupa na tadašnjim Ri Rock festivalima. Grupa Keops je tada imala i priliku nastupati na velikom koncertu na stadionu Kantrida pod nazivom OD SRCA DJECI te doživjela svoje prvo iskustvo pred 15000 ljudi.
Grupa Keops je 1998. godine promjenila vokala te se bendu prikljucuje Filip Stropin. U tom razdoblju snima se demo BROKEN CHAINS u heavy izričaju. Sa istim materijalom grupa odlazi u Italiju na festival RITMI GLOBALI EUROPEI gdje osvaja prvu nagradu u kategoriji benda te prima nagradu od talijanske dive IVANA SPAGNA te velikog talijanskog benda POOH. Isto je rezultiralo mini turnejom u Italiji te snimanjem singla JECAJI U TAMI u studiju NENE BELANA.
Nedugo zatim pjevač odlazi iz grupe te ga mjenja TONI ŠUPERINA i grupa kreće ka drugom izričaju; POP –ROCK te počinje stvarati na hrvatskom jeziku. U suradnji sa Slobodanom Vujovicem ex DISKOTON snima demo materijal ZOVEM TVOJE IME te nastupa kao support DIVLJIM JAGODAMA, CRVENOJ JABUCI, na nekoliko koncerata te ELEKTRIČNOM ORGAZMU!
U međuvremenu grupa se odlučuje na studijski materijal te piše pjesme sa najnovijim materijalima.
Grupa KEOPS odradila je mnostvo nastupa u klubovima,barovim te biker festivalima. Nakon nekoliko godina sviranja grupa je odlučila snimiti pjesme u studiju PLAVI FILM ZAGREB, producent materijala je dugogodišnji poznanik TONI LOVIC (ZABRANJENO PUŠENJE; BUDENJE; HARD TIME). Snimanje je dovršeno u travnju mjesecu 2010. godine. Na početku rujna Croatia Records se odlucuje za izdanje prvog singla KAKO DA TE PREBOLIM. Za istu pjesmu je snimljen i video broj.
