Yeah I learned some words, but it's getting absurd
Kero One learned some local words, but it's becoming difficult to keep track of them all.

Lost in translation mixing up my verbs
Kero One is having trouble with language barriers, including mixing up verbs.

Like "guten tag" in Prague, in Sri Lanka I said "danke"
Kero One accidentally used the wrong language in different countries, using German in Prague and saying "thank you" in German while in Sri Lanka.

Morocco "arigato", all these countries got me bonkers
Kero One accidentally used the wrong language in Morocco, saying "thank you" in Japanese. He finds it overwhelming to keep track of all these customs.

Kero One thinks it's important to respect local customs and traditions.

Kero One thinks that Europeans charge excessively for basic things like breathing.

So it's saying a lot, it's getting crazy on the wallets
Things are getting expensive and it's taking a toll on their wallets.

And the only way to stall it, short arms and deep pockets
The only way to save money is to not spend as much, even if you have deep pockets to begin with.

Plus last night they stole my phone in Paris
Kero One had his phone stolen while he was in Paris.

With my streets smarts, who thought it would happen to me
Kero One thought he was street-smart enough to avoid getting robbed but it still happened.

So today I'll keep it cheap "Big Mac" and some cheese
Kero One will keep his purchases minimal, perhaps even only a "Big Mac" and some cheese.
