Kid Cudi Lyrics

Momma told me wait
I can not relate
Eat what's on your plate
Fill yourself with hate
Take her on a date
Fill yourself with hate
Take it on a date
Momma told me wait
Momma told me wait
Eat what's on your plate
Momma told me wait
Momma told me wait
I can not relate
Eat what's on your plate
Fill yourself with hate
Give yourself a taste
Fucking on the first date
Sucking on the first date
Full yourself with hate
Shit
Did you hear that, did you fucking hear that
The lyrics to Kid Cudi's "Wait" suggest a complex and often confusing set of emotions and experiences, and as such, there are a number of different ways that they can be interpreted. At first glance, it appears as though the singer is struggling to find a balance between his true desires and the expectations of others, most notably his mother. Throughout the song, he struggles with the idea of waiting and biding his time, even as he is filled with rage, hatred, and a sense of desperation.
In many ways, the song can be seen as a meditation on the ways in which we all struggle to find our place in the world, and how difficult it can be to find a way to live a life that is both fulfilling and meaningful. The singer is grappling with some important questions about what it means to be true to oneself, to be patient, and to find the courage to pursue one's dreams. Ultimately, "Wait" is a song that speaks to the experiences and struggles of all those who have felt lost or confused at some point in their lives, and who are looking for answers that can help them find their way forward.
