Young Hearts
Kings Of Tomorrow Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The sun′ll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin′ about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I′m stuck in a day
That′s gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
′Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You′re always

A day
A way!

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Young Hearts" by Kings Of Tomorrow may appear to be a completely different song at first glance. The extracted lines in the above stanza are actually the complete lyrics to the chorus of "Tomorrow," a song written by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin for the musical Annie. The song is sung by the character of Annie and is a message of hope and optimism for a better future. The chorus is all about the belief that tomorrow will be a brighter day, and encourages listeners to hold on and have faith through tough times, as they will eventually be overcome.

The inclusion of the iconic chorus into the Kings Of Tomorrow 's song "Young Hearts" gives the track a soulful and uplifting message which compliments the music's house beats. It adds further positivity when it is sung by the background choir. The song itself is about the wisdom that comes with age and experience, and how these things help us to understand and connect with a wider emotional range. The message is that with each passing day, we gain a little more insight and empathy, which helps us to navigate the ups and downs of life. The timelessness of the Annie chorus serves to reinforce this message of hope and positivity, emphasizing that no matter how difficult things may seem, there is always the potential for tomorrow to bring new possibilities and a brighter future.

@extrude22

One of the first songs that got me into house music ever since it was on that vodka advert!

@terrylodge4846

Exactly that memory brought me here. It was a red square ad showing people partying in kavos, Ibiza etc 👍🏾.... incidentally, it inspired me to go to Ibiza.... where I ended up living for 2 years. I've been living in Spain ever since!

@extrude22

@@terrylodge4846 I wish I could see that advert again just for the nostalgia.
