Sin Naufragar
Kraken Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Como nos duele la mentira
Cuando vivimos la misma traición
En tiempos de amor
Quemando el dolor
Quedando la herida

Cómo nos duele despertar
De aquellos sueños que no tienen nombre
Enfrentar la verdad
Sentir que no están tan vivos entonces

Sin caminar nunca se llega
Ver más allá de ese punto final
Comenzar cada día al amanecer y ser

(Coro:)
Como una sombra y navegar
Sobre la piel del mar
Para volver tan libre lo sensible
Sin naufragar
Como una sombra navegar
Sobre la piel del mar
Abrir los ojos libres
Sin herirme con la sal

Sencillamente entonces
Como sombra en el mar
Podrás navegar si conoces el norte
Sencillamente entonces

Con traje de piel sentirás así ser
Sencillamente un hombre.

Overall Meaning

The first stanza of "Sin Naufragar" talks about the pain of lies and betrayal, and how it hurts even more when it's someone we love who betrays us. It speaks of the wounds that such experiences leave behind and how difficult it is to move on from them. The second stanza is about the pain of waking up from a dream that doesn't have a name - a situation where we realize that what we thought was real was just an illusion. The lyrics suggest that it's easier to face the truth when we know that the people we care about aren't really alive, and thus won't be hurt by our actions.

The chorus speaks of sailing like a shadow on the surface of the sea, without sinking or being hurt by the salt. It suggests the idea of being able to navigate through difficult situations without getting lost in them or letting them consume us. It's about being able to look beyond the end and start anew every day, with a clear sense of direction.

Overall, the song "Sin Naufragar" seems to be about resilience, the ability to overcome adversity and move on from past experiences. It asks us to be like a shadow on the sea - to keep moving forward, not letting ourselves get stuck in any one place, and to keep our hearts open and free.
