And it still don't feel like victory?
I guess the only one left to reach is the Almighty
Oh oh
In Labrinth's song "The Finale," the lyrics reflect on a moment of triumph or success that doesn't bring the expected satisfaction or fulfillment. The opening line, "So who you gonna call when you're standin' on top of the world," presents a scenario where the singer has achieved a high level of success or accomplishment. However, despite reaching the pinnacle, there is an underlying sense of emptiness or dissatisfaction. This is illustrated by the following line, "And it still don't feel like victory," indicating that the expected feelings of joy or fulfillment are absent.
The next line, "I guess the only one left to reach is the Almighty," suggests that the singer realizes that material success or accomplishments alone cannot provide the inner fulfillment they seek. They recognize that the ultimate source of fulfillment lies beyond worldly achievements, in a higher power, symbolized here as the Almighty. It signifies a shift in perspective and a search for something deeper and more meaningful.
Overall, "The Finale" highlights the hollowness of material success and the yearning for a deeper connection or purpose in life. It encourages reflection on what truly brings fulfillment and the recognition that external achievements alone may not lead to lasting happiness.

Do you have paypal? Can we just donate to artists individually instead of you all being slaves to a bunch of jerks?
Micheal made me wonder if there was ever a different route.
