Morning
Lambert & Nuttycombe Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Morning,dear morning
Here you are again
Tell me what′s in store today
Maybe a new love, maybe and old love
Just might make this one alone
Maybe erase all the time and the space
From my eyes
I could try
The morning

To a soft chill Clear and assuring
Always so dazzling fresh
No other time can begin to compare
Confidence is at its best
Morning she's new and she′s different too
And I like her
Yes I do
Good morning

Isn't it all a part of living
When clouds from above you
Break of day bring the only way
Singing I love you

And should I find
That my distance has taken me
Further than I wished to go
I look for the morning with all of her glory
Knowing in her way she'll show
Me as I arise that I am still alive
So I whisper

Come along
Won′t you morning

This was one of my favorite albums from 1970. It was hard to find even then. I think it was on A&M records. These guys were a perfect match!

I just need to say again that this has a beautiful, beautiful feel to it. It made sense when I found out they recorded this at home (hence the title) ; as a musician, I know how important it is to be comfortable when/where you're recording. It paid off for them - maybe not monetarily, but spiritually and eternally. Thanks so much, 12stringsgood, for posting this. NEED IT ON VINYL SO BAD!!
